ETFW is a Unified Threat Management solution, supported by a Linux operating system in a specific CD-ROM configuration, having a very low demand on hardware resources. It was created as a single, consolidated solution to achieve network protection, traffic filtering / accounting /shaping and a base network service provider.
All the configuration is executed in ETFW's web interface, in which you can define network configurations and access rules. Changes must be saved in a floppy / hard disk / pen drive / SD memory card, ir order to be active after a reboot.
ETFW is a dynamic, scalable and easy to use UTM solution, improving your company's network health and providing important services:
- DHCP and DNS services;
- Advanced routing and traffic shaping;
- Proxy with content filtering (Active Directory integration supported);
- Email relay (anti-virus / spam filtering);
- IPSec/Open VPN / PPTP VPNs (site-to-site and dialup);
- Advanced layer7 firewall;
In order to achieve hight availability, it's also possible to deploy ETFW in a cluster configuration with failover capabilities.
We have created a specific offering, which includes the ETFW embedded in an appliance, including support (web, email and/or phone).
ETFW has been deployed in several countries including Portugal; Brazil; Singapore; The Netherlands and Romania.
