Eurotux's email security and filtering service transfers the burden
of email virus and spam filtering and DoS network protection from the
clients's infrastructures to our cloud, resulting in a clean, smaller
email feed.

All the virus filtering, spam analysis and markup and quarantine
processes are executed in Eurotux's cloud; therefore, the client
doesn't need to buy or renew anti-virus software licensing, and
internal server resource usage is lowered. Network connectivity usage
decreases, as a high percentage of the virus and spam messages are
quarantined, and are never sent to the client's servers.
This service does also provide a backup MX, keeping all the messages
if the destination servers aren't reachable. Service activation doesn't
require any change in the client's infrastructure or downtime, as it is
activated with simple DNS changes.
This service is monitored and supported 24x7.

Some of the featured we provide in Eurotux's cloud email security service are:
- A/V filtering: Utilization of several anti-virus engines (Sophos, ClamAV);
- Greylisting:
Delay the acceptance of the first message from each origin for about 2
minutes, so spam botnets (which never retry) get blocked;
- Blacklists: Realtime blacklist checking of several blacklists (open proxy, known spam sources, open socks, etc);
- Local Black / Whitelists : Creation of user white/blacklists of domain or full email address;
- Heuristic
analysis: Full message analysis, using patterns to determine if a
message is spam (instead of only using recipients or subject);
- Content analysis: Colaborative detection of message parts;
- Updates: Automatic rule update, using a global knowledge base as well as specific, custom created rules by our own team;
- Quarentine:
Quarantined list of messages, allowing the deletion or quarantine free
and delivery of individual messages. Daily / weekly / monthly
quarantined message reports per user;

Pricing
Our pricing model depends on some items, whose limits should be previously negotiated:
- Message volume;
- Bandwidth;
- Mailbox number;
- Quarantine period and volume;
- Selected anti-virus engine;
The first three items are usually scaled in blocks, with loose
resource usage regarding the first two. Usually, the quarantine period
is of 30 days, unless the defined quota is reached which will start a
process of older message deletion, to ensure the archiving of newer
messages.
