The Informatics Department at the University of Minho (DIUM) is based in Braga (northwest of Portugal). The department's mission is to disseminate knowledge, both applied and fundamental, in the areas of computer science, and information technologies, with a particular emphasis on Software Engeneering and on Communications and Computer Networks. The site includes information about the department's activities, including learning and research activities, and also staff information in a bilingual structure.
