Meetup WordPress in Braga, featured Eurotux talk on the development of a plug-in to manage media website homepages

The latest Meetup WordPress in Braga, was held on April 6, 2016. The event drew more than 20 participants. The event was highlighted by the creation of a plug-in to manage the media website homepages, with a specific focus on the website developed by Eurotux, for Dinheiro Vivo, an online business newspaper.

The need to highlight content on the homepage, according to specific client requirements, implied challenges that could not be addressed with currently available solutions. The presentation, conducted by Luís Silva, the project’s technical coordinator, discussed the strategy followed by Eurotux’s web development team, in order to surpass these challenges, and resulting in the development of a new plug-in to manage the homepage.

Eurotux contributed to the WordPress community, sharing its knowledge and experience in this area. The company has implemented portal in WordPress for clients in several sectors, namely, media and distribution, highlighted by the websites for Dinheiro Vivo and Pingo Doce, a leading Portuguese distribution company.
