New app version for the Order of Dentists focuses on 2013 OMD Congress
The main new feature of the OMD app, available for iPhone and Android, is an update to the Congress section, dedicated to the XXII Annual Congress of the Order of Dentists, which will take place in November 2013. Users will now be greeted by a new image regarding the event, and can access the program and updated contents, as well as a new map of the Dental Expo 2013, a trade fair taking place during the congress.
Along with these changes, several improvements and corrections were made for problems that were identified in the previous version. The app, developed and launched by Eurotux in 2012, allows users to access the latest news, training programs, and events held by the OMD, obtain congress related information (such as registration data and other useful information), as well as an area for members, where each Order member can access their personal data and billing information.
With the widespread distribution of smartphones and tablets, mobile applications are a fundamental tool in bringing institutions and their members, or companies and their clients, closer together. Eurotux is well experienced in the field of mobile app development, easily integrating them into existing IT infrastructures, such as, for example, institutional websites, offering the opportunity to supply app content through external feeds or back-office entries.

The Order of Dentists is a Portuguese public entity that bestows the professional title upon practitioners and regulates the profession in the country. This year, its congress will be its 22nd editions, being held between November 21 and 23, at the Congress Center in Lisbon.
