Data Scientist

Job Description

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for transforming data into valuable business information through data analysis, statistical modelling and data visualization, contributing to evidence-based decision-making.

Its main responsibilities are:

  • Collect, process, explore and analyse data from different sources, ensuring its quality and consistency;
  • Develop and evaluate statistical and Machine Learning models using tools such as Python, SQL and data analysis libraries;
  • Identify patterns, trends and opportunities through data analysis;
  • Create dashboards, visualizations and reports that facilitate the interpretation and communication of results;
  • Collaborate in the development and optimization of data pipelines, data transformation processes and the integration of information from different sources;
  • Work closely with different teams to identify needs and define data-driven solutions.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field;
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL;
  • Knowledge of data analysis and Machine Learning libraries, namely Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn;
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling, data analysis and data visualization;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Critical thinking, rigor, proactivity and results-oriented mindset;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Good command of English.
