Eurotux is an Information Technologies company with an international scope. As part of our growth strategy, we intend to hire:

Project Manager

Job Description

This role is responsible for leading IT projects — infrastructure, cybersecurity, audits, artificial intelligence, and others — from award to closure, ensuring compliance with scope, deadlines and estimated effort:

Its main responsibilities are:

  • Project planning: leading internal and client meetings, drafting the project plan — scope, risks, acceptance criteria, schedule and communication plan — and consolidating requirements with the technical teams;
  • Ongoing communication with the client, mainly via video call and email, managing expectations throughout the project: identifying stakeholders, clearly aligning what is and is not in scope, and communicating progress, decisions and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Monitoring and controlling execution, with periodic meetings with the technical team and the client, updating the project plan and providing regular status reports;
  • Managing change requests, ensuring client approval;
  • Tracking effort and deadlines against plan, flagging deviations in time for them to be corrected;
  • Managing project risks, including information security requirements and, where applicable, artificial intelligence governance;
  • Project closure: formal delivery and validation with the client, a closing meeting with the team, and recording lessons learned;
  • Ongoing coordination with the sales, technical and service management teams, and recording project activity on internal platforms.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in computer engineering, information systems, systems engineering, management or an equivalent field;
  • Professional experience in project management or client management, preferably with a minimum of 2 years;
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure — systems, networks, cloud and cybersecurity — enabling dialogue with technical teams and clients;
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written, used in regular client communication;
  • Proactivity, a sense of responsibility and rigor, and strong communication skills;
  • Availability for on-site work in Braga: the first 12 months are fully on-site, moving afterwards to a hybrid model of three days a week in the office;
  • Availability for occasional travel to clients, within Portugal.
