Networking Administrator

Job Description

Its main responsibilities are:

  • Install, configure and administer network systems;
  • Monitor and provide support for network infrastructures;
  • Participate in network implementation and optimization projects;
  • Analyze and resolve incidents and problems in network infrastructures;
  • Provide customer service and support by telephone and email, ensuring effective follow-up of requests;
  • Ensure availability to provide 24×7 services, according to the service organization;
  • Provide support to a portfolio of customers in Portugal and the United Kingdom, therefore a good command of English is valued;
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Networks or a related field;
  • Certifications such as Sophos Firewall, Check Point, Cisco CCNA and CCNP are valued;
  • Proven experience in configuring and managing switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs and other network devices;
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, etc.) and network monitoring tools;
  • Experience with network security measures, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS) and VPN configurations;
  • Good command of English;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Interest in learning and taking on new challenges;
  • Sense of responsibility and attention to detail, proactivity and customer focus.
