Eurotux apresenta jogo de cibersegurança no Cyber & Cloud Expo
Eurotux is preparing a challenge at the first edition of Cyber & Cloud Expo in Portugal, which will happen in webinar format in October.
Cyber-security is the main theme of Cyber & Cloud Expo, a virtual event that will be held in webinar format between October 6 and 9, 2020 and, according to its organizers, “fills a gap on the part of the business market lacking solutions and answers to the new challenges, risks and opportunities arising from cyber-security, privacy and their impact on your business”.
Invited by the event organizers, Eurotux is developing a cyber-security game, a challenge that will be presented to higher education students participating in the event.
The challenge, in the form of a pentest, is to invade a website from an initial tip and, overcoming all barriers, take full control of the system. This can be done with common tools used by hackers, such as Brute Force.
According to Vitor Carvalho, Eurotux employee responsible for the concept and implementation of the game, “the purpose of the game is to awaken in the students of the university the appreciation for the area of security from a simulated invasion. Once they know how to invade an OS it is possible to develop capabilities to protect them.”
As an award, the two first challenge’s winners will get a FNAC coupon of 100€ and 50€.
