Junior Fullstack Developer

Job Description

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications end to end — from the data model to the interface — as part of a collaborative team with direct contact with the client:

Its main responsibilities are:

  • Development of complete features, from backend to frontend, based on requirements agreed with the client and the team;
  • AI-assisted development, using Claude as an everyday work tool, with personal accountability for everything delivered;
  • Creation of Claude skills useful for web development, shared with the team;
  • Research and analysis of the client’s business areas, in order to propose the best solution;
  • Evolutionary maintenance and defect correction in production systems;
  • Integration with third-party services and APIs;
  • Participation in client meetings and acceptance tests, following what has been built through to production and beyond.

How We Work

These aren’t slogans on a wall: this is how projects actually run day to day, including when deadlines are tight.

  • The client is close by. We meet with them, exchange emails and listen to what they need. The software is for the client, and our goal is simple: that what we deliver matches what they expect;
  • Errors in the software are not acceptable. The focus is on the quality of what we deliver, because that is what keeps the client’s trust — and trust is the hardest thing to win back;
  • We keep our word. A date we commit to is a date we meet. If something unexpected comes up, the client is notified immediately and we take the steps needed to reduce the impact.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering or an equivalent field;
  • Programming knowledge in a backend language — Python, PHP or C# — even if acquired in an academic context or personal projects;
  • Web development fundamentals: HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and a working knowledge of consuming APIs;
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL;
  • Use of Git and workflows involving branches and pull requests;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, the latter used for reading documentation and specifications and for written communication;
  • Openness to code criticism, willingness to ask rather than assume, and availability to learn from more experienced colleagues;
  • Availability for on-site work in Braga, at Eurotux Group’s premises, with the possibility of moving to a hybrid model after 12 months.

What We Value

These are not eligibility requirements, but they count in favour when evaluating applications:

  • Experience with Django, Laravel, .NET, FastAPI, Flask, Wagtail or WordPress;
  • Experience with Angular or React;
  • Knowledge of application security, namely the OWASP Top 10;
  • Experience using Claude Code.

What We Offer

  • Wage conditions according to qualifications and experience shown (the salary range will be provided before the first interview);
  • Mentoring from more experienced engineers from day one;
  • Integration into a dynamic and attractive project, with direct contact with the client;
  • A challenging environment for learning and growth;
  • Good career prospects, with personal and professional development.

If you meet the requirements mentioned and your professional projects are ambitious, take a look at our proposal and analyze the possibility of joining a company that has strong growth goals.
