SADC Central Banks IT Forum – Annual Conference 2012
The purpose of the Information and Technology (IT) Forum, created in 1997, is twofold: the first is to support CCBG’s (Committee of Central Bank Governors) projects and initiatives with information systems solutions, the second is to improve information and communication technologies in every central bank of the SADC (Southern African Development Community).
The IT Forum includes the IT directors of all SADC’s central banks and is chaired by the Bank of Mozambique.
At the invitation of the organization, at the highest level, Eurotux attended the 2012 annual conference held from February 13 to 17 in Pemba – Mozambique, where it presented a paper related to computer security in the banking context.
Through the presence and participation in these events, Eurotux solidifies what is already a clear strategic focus of proximity in the Mozambican market.
