eurotux Firewall – New Version
This new release is the culmination of more than a year of our development team’s work in this product evolution. The main updates include a new base operating system, more recent and with higher performance, a new web management interface, more intuitive and with a refreshed look.
Improvements have been made with drivers for new platforms, particularly to allow the operation of the system in a virtual environment with better performance.
We also developed new management modules with the provision of “wizards” that will assist the administrator in the initial configuration tasks.
This new version has also revolutionized the development system, allowing the customer to have at its disposal more regular and updated releases. The firewall system was also redesigned, allowing the creation of objects and areas and their subsequent management. This new system will allow an easier management of the complexity of rules that are necessary for certain customers.
The roadmap for version 5 already introduces new features like transparent spam filter, the creation of new “wizards”, automatic configuration(s) system(s) backups for the Eurotux cloud, etc.
