This connection was very active in the month of July, during which, Eurotux conducted several business deals involving Sophos solutions, among which include the following three examples.
CERTIF – Associação para a Certificação, a Portuguese non-profit certification organization, constituted by 27 associates, renewed its licensing of the Sophos product ENDPOINT PROTECTION ADVANCED, an all-in-one security suite that guarantees the protection of desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, among others with just one license.
The licensing of the Alto Ave Hospital Center, serving a geographical area of influence that included the municipalities of Guimarães, Fafe, Vizela, Cabeceiras de Basto, Celorico de Basto, and Felgueiras, was also renewed, featuring a Web Security Appliance WS1100. This appliance, which can be described as a web gateway, provides a global web protection, allowing for web traffic monitoring and the blocking of recent threats.
Lastly, Fraunhofer Portugal, a non-profit organization dedicated to applied research, progressed towards the licensing of the Sophos Complete Security Suite. In this fashion, and all at once, Fraunhofer can now begin benefiting from web protection, encryption, consistent DLP policies, mobile device security, monitoring, and support services.
