Eurotux provides IT services for the North Region Order of Engineers
The NROE possesses its own IT personnel that addresses the institution’s needs for day-to-day tasks and for inter-associate communications. However, aware of its growing IT requirements, the NROE has selected a few Eurotux products and services in order to compliment its infrastructure.
The eurotux eTicketing service is contemplated in the contract. eTicketing is used to centralize all requests related to the NROE’s IT in a single location, given that the NROE has its headquarters in Porto and delegations in four district capitals, namely: Braga, Viana do Castelo, Vila Real, and Bragança, making it easier to place and manage requests, and improving service quality.
The company also offers eurotux eBackup, a cloud based solution for backing up data that provides guaranteed protection and easy access to stored information, eurotux eMail Exchange, a spam and virus filtering service with a cloud quarantine area, and the installation of a eurotux Firewall, a flexible system that assists the protection of IT systems from threats such as unauthorized access or cyber attacks.
In addition to these services, Eurotux also performs maintenance and operational services. Since NROE possesses its own IT department, and although certain services can be monitored externally, the main objective is to assist the institution’s own resources with problem resolution, system maintenance, analysis for optimal solutions, and with the continuous evolution of its infrastructure.
