Eurotux supports MAPFRE | Seguros IT infrastructure
The deal, signed on July 30, 2013, includes the provision of administration services by Eurotux, for MAPFRE’s IT infrastructure, particularly with regards to the DMZ structures, the perimeter networks where services are more exposed to the Internet.
This DMZ includes web and email services used by insurance brokers. This set of services represents a critical aspect of day-to-day work at MAPFRE, since they are constantly used by all of their partners and workers, and in practice, any failure or unavailability will have a direct impact on business.
Given the importance of these elements of the MAPFRE IT infrastructure, Eurotux’ renowned technical capacity was crucial in guaranteeing the adjudication of this project. References from other clients, existing technical certifications, and the team’s experience, guarantee quality assurance and stability for managing systems that are pivotal to the company’s business operation.
The versatility of its workers and their capacity to create on-the-fly solutions based on existing technology, have also been taken into account as important features in this field, having assisted Eurotux in presenting a competitive offer.
Additionally, MAPFRE had analyzed Eurotux’ reliability, with regards to its management policies, financial and risk stability, concluding that the company demonstrates the capacity to meet expectations in every indicator.
This is not the first project between Eurotux and MAPFRE, since the connection between the companies began about two ago, with an orientation pointed towards small infrastructural reformulation projects.
MAPFRE | SEGUROS, arrived in Portugal in 1986, and has over 70 offices providing a close and personalized service to its clients. The relationship with MAPFRE demonstrates Eurotux’ commitment to this sector, boasting a few references in Portugal and Mozambique as well.
