Eurotux takes part in Cisco Innovation Day
With “Tomorrow starts here” as its motto, the Cisco Innovation Day event took place on May 20, at the Stadium of the Dragon, in Porto, Portugal, focusing on the theme of the Internet of Everything (IoE), and on all of the linked opportunities. Participants were able to see all of the possibilities presented to companies when they connect people, processes, data and objects via the Cloud, from business networks, collaboration and the datacenter.
The event was attended by several Cisco Portugal stakeholders, partners and clients. Eurotux sponsored the event and took part in a booth, where it received clients, promoted interaction with other participating organizations and fostered networking with potential clients. In total 17 Cisco partners were present, creating a business boosting atmosphere and promoting interaction and networking between participants.
“This event strengthens our relationship with Cisco, who has been our partner for several years. The number of participants exceeded our expectations, we saw familiar faces and established interesting contacts, with both clients as well as with other participating companies and with whom we were able to share experiences. It’s important to participate in our partner’s major events and keep up with trends, in order to innovate and provide new solutions, so that are clients can integrate them with their business”, says Jorge Paiva, Director of Sales for Eurotux.

Therefore, as in previous years, we held the Cisco Innovation Day in Porto, and we also organized a roadshow in six district capitals of northern Portugal”, said Miguel Sousa Figueiredo, Territory Market Manager for Cisco Systems Portugal. He also added that “Eurotux is an important partner for Cisco, for the competence and trust they have established with their clients, having once again provided, on this Cisco Innovation Day, proof of being an important driver of the development of this culture of proximity”.
