Eurotux experts took preventive measures regarding glibc vulnerability
The GHOST vulnerability (CVE-2015-0235) was made public at the end of January, upon an audit by the company Qualys. It refers to a critical flaw in the GNU C Library (glibc). The glibc is a native library of the Linux based operating systems, making it a fundamental library for the OS’s operation.
Eurotux proceeded immediately with due diligence to ensure that the clients’ systems it’s responsible for managing, would remain immune to this vulnerability.
The company’s technical team quickly identified the vulnerable systems using a tool that provides a global view of the Linux servers it administrates. In total, over 500 information technology systems were updated.
