Eurotux Firewall Version 5.14 is available
The latest version of Eurotux’s open source based, integrated security solution, is available, now including more security and management features.
We highlight the following new features:
- We’ve added support for fail2ban, a package that analyses logs and bans hosts with too many authentication errors, in order to avoid brute force attacks.
- We’ve added the quick installation guide for the Eurotux Firewall appliance.
- We’ve added default configuration on shorwall6. The firewall now comes with basic firewall configurations in IPV6.
It also includes all security updates that were available at launch date. Eurotux highlights the importance of keeping systems up-to-date, encouraging upgrades to the latest version.
The Eurotux Firewall is an integrated system that stands out for its flexibility and for being secure, efficient and reliable, and for exerting a low demand on hardware resources. It provides integrated, scalable and easy to use IT network protection, improving their performance. It includes features such as, proxy, load balancing, VPN concentrator and applicational (layer 7) filtering, among others.
