Eurotux Services complement Systems and Information Technology Department of the Elevo Group
The Elevo Group is active in all areas of engineering and construction. Employing over 4000 workers, its volume of business exceeds 400 million Euros. The company has ambitious goals for growth, foreseeing over 700 million euros until 2018. In Mozambique, the Elevo Group is strongly committed in making the country grow in quality, with the construction of over 380 km of roads and 100 000 m2 of buildings.
The Systems and Information Technology Department (DDTSI) is the operational unit responsible for the field of Information Technology (IT) for the Elevo Group, directed by Carla Guia. The DTSI is in charge of strategic planning and decisions related with the group’s IT infrastructure, nationally and internationally. It is hones high levels of skill and know, addressing the IT needs of the group’s companies.
In Mozambique, the Elevo Group can count on the support of Eurotux, operating in the field of outsourcing, in implementing strategy, and executing the tasks set out by the DTSI. Eurotux, represented by its partners ITMZ, also supports several construction sites, globally, as both an IT service partner, as well as a provider of hardware and software.
Carla Guia, highlights that with “the integration of the Eurotux Mozambique (ITMZ) team and internal DTSI Elevo Group team, the perception of our goals and limitations, have been key factors for this partnership’s success. She states that, “the difficulty of finding the ideal resource for our market in Mozambique was surpassed with this partnership. We’ve managed to implement operational procedures, applying group rules, that help streamline the process of identifying and solving problems, and making service more efficient.
The DTSI’s director also adds that “this partnership begin in Portugal, with the help of Eurotux in specific hardware migration projects and support in solving related problems, where it has shown to be a partner of excellence” and underlines that “whenever there is a challenge, Eurotux is there to help”.
