Eurotux supports social network for oncology community
Eurotux has joined the FalarSobrecancro.org, offering to host the community’s website for free. This project provides a free and open public website with the purpose of providing access to knowledge and shared experiences between the oncology community, namely, doctors, family members, friends, health professionals, researches and volunteers.
FalarSobreCancro.org has over 2000 users and is partnered with the Portuguese Institute of Oncology of Porto (IPO-Porto), the University of Minho, the Polytechnic Institute of the Cávado and Ave, and the Institute of Systems and Computers Engineering, Technology, and Science (INESC TEC).
With this support, Eurotux hopes to contribute to the awareness and success of the project. Its website has all the benefits of being hosted on a specialized datacentre, namely, in terms of access speed, high availability, and information security.
