Eurotux obtains NP 4457 certification in research, development and innovation (RDI) management
Eurotux has recently obtained certification for its management system, in terms of compliance with the NP 4457:2007 norm, within the scope of research, development and investigation of information technology solutions.
The company aims to establish itself in information technology market, having always followed a pro-active approach of technological prospection and innovation. Achieving the RDI NP 4457 certification was one of its goals, in order to assert itself as a market player.
Certification for this norm, guarantees that Eurotux has hones the requisites of an effective management system for RDI, contributing to help achieve its innovation goals. On the other hand, the system allows you to keep up with technological development and identify opportunities of improvement. On the other hand, it enables the company to systematize its RDI activities and make the best use of its know-how.
António Luís Sousa, Administrator at Eurotux, considers that “this certification recognizes the work that is done at our company with regards to innovation, and showcases our capacity to develop and implement innovative solutions, that are capable of adding market value”. He adds that “Eurotux has a department dedicated to research and development that has implemented innovative pilot-projects, working in partnership with suppliers and clients”.
The active participation in RDI projects, as well as creating an environment that helps drive innovation, generating ideas and knowledge sharing, is due mainly to the close relationship that Eurotux has, since its start, with the University of Minho.
As well as IDI certification according to the norm NP 4457:2007, Eurotux has its management system certified in the quality assurance area, according to the norm ISO 9001:2008.
The certification was granted after an audit by the Bureau Veritas Certification, an organization accredited by the Portuguese Accreditation Institute and world leader in evaluating compliance and certification.
