Eurotux took part in the 2016 SUSE Expert Days
Eurotux took part in the 2016 edition of the SUSE Expert Days, held on February 25th, in Lisbon, Portugal. The event seeks to promote SUSE solutions, targeting both businesses as well as end-users.
This year’s program focused on software defined data center. In addition to the presentations covering this topic, participants were able to network, attend product demonstrations, and interact with SUSE experts. Some of the featured solutions in this edition were the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12, the SUSE OpenStack Cloud, the SUSE Enterprise Storage, and the containers (Docker).
Eurotux has a privileged position in the open source sector. It has focused on this type of products since its inceptions, keeping up with the evolution in this field, in order to provide state-of-the-art solutions to its clients.
Among other reasons, SUSE Linux is an interesting solution for being compatible with several architectures, namely, Intel, and IBM Power, with which Eurotux has worked with and developed projects. Eurotux has also been especially interested in integrating SUSE technology with SAP solutions, an area that has seen increased focus recently.
