Eurotux professionals strengthen skills in Rocket’s iCluster solution
Rocket Software held a custom training session on Eurotux’s premises for the company’s professionals, within the scope of the iCluster solution. Eurotux uses this Rocket product preferentially in its IBM Power replication projects.
This opportunity arose from the scope of the partnership between Rocket and Eurotux, resulting from the companies’ proximity. The session was held on August 17, at Eurotux’s facilities in Braga, Portugal, enabling its professionals to perfect and update their knowledge on a fundamental solution for projects with IBM Power i.
The sessions covered several themes, such as automation of role-switch processes, optimization of global replication values, best practices for total replication and role-switch preparation, the mobile iCluster and the obtaining of automatic information about sql, display commands, among other data, from the running cluster, as well as new troubleshooting tools. Eurotux’s technicians have thus strengthened their skills, in order to get the most out of Rocket’s solution, and maximize the availability of IBM I infrastructures for their customers.
The Rocket iCluster solution is an essential tool for assuring uninterrupted operations for the IBM i system’s applications, with continuous access and monitoring, identification and correction of replication problems.
