Odisseia 2020 reflects the team’s resilience in a different year
Social distancing didn’t hinder Eurotux employees (TuxTeam) from carrying out Odisseia 2020. The event was adapted to strengthen team ties without compromising COVID-19’s containment measures.
The unusual year 2020 made Odisseia take a digital format. Eurotux employees used the technology to gather on the morning of September 26th.
This year, the initiative was a Rally Paper, in which the participants were divided into 8 teams made up of one participant in person, by car, guided by the remote participants.
The teams were able to communicate by chat and videoconference, and the remote participants, from home, had to guess the several different places in the city of Braga, from several clues, making their photographic record.
In addition, the winners of the challenge were awarded with a gift check from a technology and leisure shop, in addition to the usual Eurotux gifts, which this year sought to improve the remote work of our teams.
Such informal gathering, promoted by the Management and Development department, allowed Eurotux’s employees, who are mostly working remotely, to strengthen their team spirit and get together.
In conclusion, this event is a demonstration of the resilience of the team that has found alternatives, in the face of the adversity of the pandemic, to adapt the Eurotux team building event and turn it into a pleasant dynamic for all participants.
