Eurotux promotes summer internships with students from Universidade do Minho
Eurotux will receive interns during this summer, in a training and skill building programme which aims to prepare young university students for the demands of the the labour market.
Eurotux Group will support eight internships during the months of July, August and September. The trainees are young university students from Universidade do Minho – entity with whom the company has a collaboration protocol – and attend different years of the Computer Engineering course, from the first to the fifth and last year.
Internships will focus on specific skill areas provided by Eurotux teams, with special focus on DevOps, Systems Administration, Databases and Web Development. In addition to technical skills, internship participants will also be able to develop soft skills and understand the dynamics of working in an ICT company.
António Coutinho, Eurotux’s CEO, explains that “the partnership between Eurotux and Minho University is historical – our founders were graduated in this institution. We are proud to maintain this connection to a university with such prestige and history in the Portuguese university education panorama”. Antonio recalls that “internships serve not only to provide students with the necessary skills to face the demanding ICT job market, but also to identify recruitment opportunities for the group, whenever possible”.
The summer internships will take place in July, August and September in a model of telework and face-to-face work at the company’s premises.
