Eurotux reinforces its presence in Mozambique
ITMZ, Serviços e Soluções, Lda. now has a new shareholder structure, designed to address the needs and demands of the Mozambican market. The company, based in Maputo, is owned by Eurotux (50%), by its CEO, Jorge Paiva (10%), and the remaining 40% is now owned by Kawenda Investimentos.
The change in the shareholder structure, with Kawenda Investimentos joining it, aims to strengthen and improve the commercial approach to the African and Mozambican market in particular, enabling better exploitation of potential business opportunities and strengthening the presence of ITMZ as an IT service provider (managed services, outsourcing, cloud services, etc.) and a supplier of value-added solutions.
According to Lino Cassimo, CEO of Kawenda, who is now part of the Executive Management team of ITMZ, Serviços e Soluções, Lda., this process fits in the vision and commitment of both companies to contribute proactively in the search for innovative solutions that allow capitalising on the transversal impact of new trends such as digital transformation and the 4th Industrial Revolution in all sectors of the national economy, as well as in the management processes and mitigation of risks and threats.
Eurotux continues to own the majority of the participation, a scenario that ensures its commitment to ITMZ and to the Mozambican market and that, in addition to the skills of the local team, ensures the necessary skills and know-how to assertively respond to the challenges that are presented.
