Eurotux closes 2023 with 13% growth
Results show double-digit growth compared to 2022. By 2024, the company aims to increase its turnover by 25%.
Eurotux Informática, a company specializing in the implementation of custom-developed information technologies, has announced a pronounced growth in its turnover in 2023, marking a year of remarkable expansion and consolidation.
Despite a challenging start to the year with a reduction in business activity, Eurotux demonstrated impressive resilience with a robust recovery in the last quarter, culminating in a 13% growth in turnover compared to the previous year. The company admits that this success is a reflection of its dynamic strategy and ability to adapt to the ever-changing market environment. Between 2022 and 2023, Eurotux’s team also grew by around 12%. The company currently has 67 employees.
“2023 was a turning point for Eurotux, in which we overcame initial challenges and achieved substantial growth, which reflects the continuous effort and dedication of our entire team,” said António Coutinho, Eurotux’s CEO. “We are particularly pleased with the strengthening of our operations in the UK and the positive impact of our strategic decisions across the company, namely our focus on cybersecurity and DevOps services.”
The company’s total revenue rose to 6,961,595 euros, an increase of 11.73% compared to 2022. This rise is mainly attributable to the increase in sales and services rendered, which rose by 12.91% over the year.
On the other hand, Eurotux has continued to invest in sustainability, with the acquisition of electric vehicles and increased solar energy production, demonstrating its commitment to responsible business practices and reducing its carbon footprint.
“We are optimistic for the future, forecasting growth of 25% by 2024. This enthusiasm is strengthened by the results already seen in the first quarter of the year, a period in which the company is growing by 40% compared to the same months last year,” added the CEO. Internationally, the company expects growth of 10%.
“Eurotux thanks all its customers, partners and employees who contributed to the success achieved in 2023 and reaffirms its commitment to continue providing cutting-edge technological solutions and exceptional customer service,” he concludes.
In 2024, Eurotux has already established a strategic alliance with Darktrace, a world leader in cybersecurity solutions powered by artificial intelligence. The partnership aims to increase Eurotux’s capacity to lead the transformation in the way companies in Portugal defend themselves against the most sophisticated cyber threats. “This agreement marks a significant step towards a future in which companies can rely on Eurotux, not only as an IT provider, but also as an essential partner in the fight against complex cyberattacks, especially those using AI”, explains António Coutinho.
Other partnerships include AWS, in the Public Cloud area, as well as strategic partnerships with IBM, Lenovo and Sophos.
