Eurotux seeks to provide its customers with reliable solutions and high availability, having a vast experience in virtualization solutions. The company now has a new high-performance datacenter that is increasing the supply of solutions in this area.
Although the year 2010 was a year with a difficult macroeconomic environment, Eurotux’s activity has experienced significant growth, having achieved the objectives set which provided a growth of about 35%, amounting to a turnover of around two million euro.
This year, Eurotux intends to implement a Quality Management System in order to achieve ISO 9001 certification and also implement a Management System for Research, Development and Innovation for obtaining the RDI – NP 4457 certification.
According to the Best Places to Work in Portugal study, Eurotux obtained a degree of commitment of its employees of 76.8%, the result of a satisfaction and involvement survey, complemented with an analysis of human resource management practices.
Eurotux has received the PME Excelência 2010 award. This award recognizes Eurotux’s financial and economic performance, within a strategy of sustained growth.
Eurotux’s ETFW technology was responsible by the edge security of the network used provided to the hundreds of reporters during Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to Porto.
The National Public Contract Agent (ANCP) has evaluated open source software, which has been included in Portugal’s National System of Public Purchases.
