Eurotux Firewall updated to version 5.11.0
Providing technologically advanced open-source solutions is one of Eurotux’s major commitments. In this spirit, a new version of Eurotux Firewall was launched, version 5.11. The list of new features is highlighted by improvements in performance and usability.
The product’s manual was completely overhauled, providing a more complete and rigorous documentation; the RADIUS software, a network protocol that provides centralized Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting management, was updated with the latest version; a new bandwidth measuring software was added along with the expect package, a software that enables the execution of scripts to automate interaction with utilities; the new USB-RJ45 drivers make the firewall compatible with more network cards, and in addition to these novelties, bugs were corrected, thus improving the system’s overall functioning.
