Eurotux awarded Excellence SME award for the fourth consecutive year
The 2012 Excellence SME was awarded to 1,239 small and medium-sized enterprises, highlighted by the IAPMEI as having achieved the best financial, economic and management performances in 2011.
136 businesses from the district of Braga were awarded, making it the Portuguese district with the fourth highest concentration of 2012 Excellence SME awards. Eurotux was one of only five award-winning companies from Braga that operate in the field of Information Technology (IT), and the only company for the business category of IT Consulting. The service industry, where the company is included along with 174 other businesses, represents 14 percent of all awarded companies in Portugal.
The Excellence SME status recognizes small and medium-sized enterprises that achieve above national-average ratios of financial solidity, high levels of competitiveness, and manage to contribute to wealth and job creation in their regions, despite current national economic difficulties.
