La Redoute Portugal continues to rely on Eurotux’s services
Eurotux initiated a 24×7 support and maintenance plan for an IT infrastructure that accommodates the services of La Redoute Portugal. This infrastructure is of crucial importance for the company’s mail order business, since it runs AIX, Linux systems that use several Oracle technologies that support part of the sales solutions.
The contract binding both companies was enhanced “since we’ve already obtained sufficient evidence of the company’s potential and commitment and its support for our international organization”, explained Luís Santos, Monitoring & Projects Manager at La Redoute Portugal. The relationship between the two companies “began with sporadic training that served as a starting point for a solid and effective partnership that allows us to embrace new challenges more safely, since we have Eurotux’s know-how to support us in decisions where we have less experience and knowledge”. He also stressed that the “Help Desk service operates with effectiveness in that the bureaucratic details are dealt with a posteriori, thus being able to respond more quickly to the problem and with more quality.
La Redoute recognizes the added value of Eurotux, which in turn strengthens its status as an expert in these systems as well as an Oracle partner focused on the infrastructure and Middleware components. The trusting relationship has lasted for over a year and for Ricardo Manuel Oliveira, Director of Consulting Services at Eurotux, “the relationship between the teams is excellent at every level.” He adds that the “sharing of knowledge and cohesion is outstanding, and establishing a relationship between partners more than client-supplier”.
