Eurotux took part in the opening of the IBM Center for Technological Innovation
IBM opened a new Center for Technological Innovation last November 8, in Viseu, Portugal. The ceremony was attended by the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, top IBM management, and a select group of partners, among other participants.
The centre is under Softinsa’s management, an IBM group company, and is prepared to work with national and international clients. During an initial phase, it will be dedicated to providing services in the areas of banking, retail, and smarter cities. It will receive a mid-term estimate of 120 professionals in the fields of management, information technology, IT engineering, and electronics.
Eurotux was one of the invited partners, represented at the highest level. Its part in the solemn ceremony reflects the strong relationship the company maintains with IBM. In the last few years, it has strengthened its position as a specialist in IBM technologies and solutions, having been distinguished as “Revelation Hardware Partner” of the Year.
Currently, Eurotux is an IBM Advanced Business Partner, focusing on IBM Power systems and storage solutions.
