Eurotux organizes new briefing event on GDPR on February 22nd
The demands and challenges of the GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation, will once again be featured in an event organized by Eurotux, next February 22nd, 2018, at 9 AM at the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa, in Porto, Portugal, in what Is the second briefing session concerning the new legislation.
Following the success of the event held on January 30th, also at the Sheraton Porto, Eurotux is hosting a second event focused on the Regulation that comes into effect on May 25th, 2018. As with the first session, this second one is already sold out, with all 110 available seats already reserved. The demand for information concerning the new law is due to the considerable requirements it implies, as well as the hefty fines that are involved.
The event is intended for Directors of Information Systems and Information Technology (IT) Managers. Eurotux will present services and solutions that help guarantee compliance with the GDPR. The session will address the law’s applicability, namely to clarify how companies and organizations must adopt a new strategy for managing their structured and non-structured data. The GDPR strengthens the security and privacy of citizen’s personal data being withheld by companies – many of them will have to rethink their entire IT structure to implement more efficient security and data processing measures.
As aforementioned, the event is already sold-out, although you may still fill in your conditional registration (in Portuguese), in the event of any last minute withdrawals, or to reserve a seat in the event of a future briefing session on the GDPR.
