Eurotux Ecosystem 2018 gathered customers and partners in Matosinhos
The Eurotux Ecosystem 2018, held at the Casa do Ribeirinho, in Matosinhos, Portugal, gathered Eurotux’s customers and partners, to learn more about some of the services and solutions that the Eurotux Group can provide, within the scope of Data Protection. In the year that the GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation comes into effect, the Eurotux’s annual event featured as its theme “Protect your Data, Protect your Business”.
Among the alternatives unveiled at the event, to guarantee compliance with the GDPR, there is a control tool that was developed by Dipcode. The participants of the Eurotux Ecosystem 2018 also learned about the latest technological trends and innovations in strategic areas, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IOT), Big data, Industry 4.0, among others.
About 80 Information Technology (IT) professionals attended, including IT managers, administrators, and other strategic decision makers from companies that collaborate regularly with Eurotux. The event was also supported by renowned technology partners, such as IBM and Arrow, as well as the support of the Eurotux Group’s companies, namely the Portuguese-Brazilian MORE Sec, and the previously mentioned Dipcode.
The third edition of the Eurotux Ecosystem, also included a surprise moment of humour, with the stand-up comedian João Seabra, entertaining the audience with GDPR related gags, while assuming the role of a “National Authority” on the new Regulation.
The global assessment of the event is very positive, with the majority of the participants scoring the contents presented as relevant to their functions. The average score for this point registered at 4.36 (on a scale from 0 to 5). The chosen venue for hosting the Eurotux Ecosystem 2018 also earned a positive evaluation, with an average score of 4.70.
