From the inauguration to remote working
During the event the employees could interact with each other, show the new building to their families and, of course, eat some birthday cake.
This February marked Eurotux’s 20th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone and for the opening of a new office in Braga, staff and their families gathered up in this event.
The opening party took place on February 15th (before the activation of the contingency plan for COVID-19) at the new office. During the event the employees could interact with each other, show the new building to their families and, of course, eat some birthday cake.
Eurotux’s new institutional video was exhibited, and the administration had the opportunity to make a speech about the biggest achievements and expectations for the company’s future. It was a very happy day for all of the guests, and the team shared their greatest accomplishments.
The 2020’s new challenges
On the last day of February, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company’s Administration Council activated a contingency plan and decided to create conditions so the employees could work remotely. This preventive measure has been protecting the TuxTeam since the start of this pandemic in Portugal.
A new and challenging step came along the way – the hard work of creating a new office from scratch, with the goal to improve the employees’ work conditions – had to be postponed. It was time to leave it and minimize the impact of this pandemic.
Eurotux is currently keeping the remote routines that allow to maintain the interactions between the team for both work and informal purposes. The administration has also allowed the employees to request office desks, chairs and supplies to contribute to a better work environment at home.
As mandatory for the situation, the team members are isolated, nevertheless, everyone is thrilled to go back to the new office.
