The Cerebral Palsy Association of Braga is donated a server
The donation of the HP Proliant DL140G2 server in rack formation, was made following the APCB’s effort of getting into touch with Eurotux for an eventual endowment of IT infrastructure equipment, with Eurotux gladly accepting the request. The server had been deactivated within the scope of a technological renovation, and now, based on a Linux platform, will be used to store and organize multimedia files, mainly images and videos.
This gesture brings two distinct advantages. On the one hand, it helps an institution to improve the platform for its IT services and, consequently, the important social work it achieves. On the other hand, it promotes the reutilization of equipment, a measure that helps to protect the environment. A simple gesture that benefits both parties.
