Cachapuz modernizes its IT infrastructure
Cachapuz, a company specializing in developing scalable solutions tailored to its customer’s needs, has recently updated its information technology (IT) infrastructure, having upgraded its equipment to a level of technology that suits its status as a weighing equipment market leader.
The company has invested in consolidating its technology and strengthening its virtualization component, namely, in terms of servers, storage and software. The local network was also improved, having upgraded its network equipment, as well its physical and wireless connections, and security software.
The new infrastructure, implemented by Eurotux, integrates Lenovo servers, an IBM v3700 storage, and Cisco switches and access points. It delivers improvements in performance, storage capacity, and networking, enabling greater access speed, and the capacity to support more users and net traffic. Likewise, it integrates redundancy between locations in order to guarantee system availability. Protection is assured by a Sophos solution.
Eurotux also provides support for managing the solution, and monitoring Cachapuz’s service quality.
