Eurotux Brings Cybersecurity Expertise to Mozambique with Bubble
Eurotux, a Portuguese technology company specializing in open-source, cloud, DevOps, and cybersecurity solutions, is the technical partner of Bubble Cyber Security, the new cybersecurity services division that Bubble Cloud Mozambique, part of the Triana Group, launched on October 13 in Maputo. The collaboration is based on a technical cooperation agreement signed in June and leverages Eurotux’s expertise to protect the servers that support the systems and applications of Mozambican organizations.
Bubble Cyber Security comprises two services. Bubble Penetration Testing assesses server security and identifies vulnerabilities that increase exposure to cyberattacks. Bubble Server Security monitors the security posture of these servers over time through assessment, remediation, and continuous monitoring. Eurotux contributes the technical expertise that underpins both services, while Bubble brings its knowledge of the Mozambican market and its connections to the local business community.
The services are available to any organization in Mozambique, Angola, and other African countries, regardless of whether they use Bubble’s cloud. The launch comes two weeks after the Cybersecurity Law (Law No. 13/2026) and the Cybercrime Law (Law No. 14/2026) went into effect, which strengthen Mozambique’s legal framework for protecting information systems and raise the bar for organizations.
A Decision Made in Portugal
The partnership is the result of a market assessment conducted by Bubble in the Portuguese market, in search of a partner capable of providing the technical support needed for a cybersecurity offering. The choice fell on Eurotux, which has been in business for over 25 years, operates its own Security Operations Center (SOC), and holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification in information security, which applies to the entire company. In 2026, Eurotux was also awarded COTEC’s Innovator Status.
For Eurotux, the agreement strengthens its international presence in a market it already knows well. The model involves bringing specialized technical expertise to markets outside Portugal, working side by side with partners who know the local landscape.
“Bubble sought a partner in Portugal capable of providing technical support for a cybersecurity offering and chose Eurotux. That speaks volumes about the value of our expertise abroad. Mozambique is a market we know well, with real needs in this area, especially now that the new legal framework is placing greater demands on organizations. This is how we want to grow abroad: alongside local partners who know the terrain well,” says Jorge Paiva, CCO of Eurotux.
“A penetration test shows where an organization is vulnerable at a given moment. But server security isn’t solved with a snapshot: it requires understanding which systems are critical to the business, fixing what’s needed, and monitoring continuously. It’s this approach—the same one we at apply every day with our clients in Portugal—that we’re bringing to Mozambique,” says Ricardo Oliveira, CSO of Eurotux.
